"The difference is in the applicator: the cardboard applicator is biodegradable, meaning you can flush it, whereas a plastic applicator needs to be thrown away in the trash. Also, some people prefer the tapered plastic end, as it is slightly more comfortable to insert.
Below it is the plastic applicator kind of products you need to know: "
"I would recommend unscented, not because there's a difference in how effective it is, but because since you don't use tampons a lot you don't want to complicate the process. I prefer unscented because I don't feel the need to be perfumed down there. :)_Good luck!
"Like everything else in the world think about the recycling issue, cardboard is much easier than plastic, in my oppionion. On the issue of scented and un-scented always go for the un-scented, all of our products are un scented , there was a real issue of toxic shock syndrom that was caused from tampons back in the 70's and 80's, and I believe it was because of the addition of the scented products. They say not to wear them over night to avoid the toxic shock problem, but I used tampons for 25 years plus and I wore them at night each and every time, I just stayed away from the added products and kept to the plain and simple product that way everything was flushable or recylable. I hope my answer has helped you, you will find that after you try tampons you will never go back to pads, they made my life much easier. Good Luck"
From above reviews, we can see that tampon are good products ,but No matter which one you choose ,the cardboard applicator or plastic applicator ,there is always an advantage about this type of products.
